Ben Hix started KO Plumbing in 2014. He had worked for the Summer’s family at First Street Plumbing for many years but was driven to venture out on his own to serve our community. Ben was a master at building relationships and was a skillful perfectionist of a plumber. At the time, he had 2 young daughters (Kamryn and Olivia) so he affectionately named his new business KO Plumbing representing their initials and was also fitting because he could Knock out plumbing problems. Ben took pride in his work, growing his business and his community of Idaho Falls, which he was born and raised in. He hired Mitch Mecham in 2015 and together they grew KO Plumbing into a trustworthy local business. Ben owned and operated KO Plumbing until his untimely passing this year. This business was his heart and soul, and we ask you to continue to support our local small business with Mitch and crew still providing quality, affording plumbing. Supporting KO Plumbing continues to grow his legacy which supports his daughters and his love for our Idaho Falls community. We appreciate your business and support.
As we move forward, Mitch and the entire team remain fully committed to upholding the high standards of honesty, hard work, and precision that Ben instilled in this business from day one. We are proud to keep serving our Idaho Falls neighbors, keeping your homes running smoothly, and keeping Ben’s incredible vision alive for many years to come.
Thank you.
-KO crew.
